The 214ce-N is a nylon-string Grand Auditorium with a Venetian cutaway, a solid torrefied spruce top and Taylor's Nylon Series Bracing. The neck is the slim Taylor carve with a 1-7/8" nut, ebony on the fretboard and bridge, and an ES-N pickup built in. White binding and a matte finish give it a different look from the black-bound Grand Concerts.
Taylor voices it with a punchy attack and a clear, balanced response that fingerstyle players get the most from. For the compact Grand Concert body with a 12-fret neck, look at the 112ce-N or the 212ce-N Plus; for solid back and sides on a nylon-string Taylor, the 314ce-N.
