The 264ce-K DLX is a 12-string Grand Auditorium in Hawaiian koa throughout: a solid koa top on layered koa back and sides, under a full gloss finish with a shaded edgeburst. Taylor describes it as bright and focused when new, turning warmer and sweeter as it gets played. It has C-Class bracing, Expression System 2 electronics, a slim neck with a 1-7/8" nut and a Venetian cutaway for reaching the upper frets.
The DLX appointments are Sentinel fretboard inlays, gold Taylor tuners and gold strap pins, with a deluxe hardshell case. For the same Grand Auditorium 12-string in layered Indian rosewood and natural finish, look at the 254ce Plus. For koa on a unison-strung Dreadnought, the Somos 260ce-K DLX Doce Doble.
