Who this one is for

The MJ Series Rhoads RR24MG is a made-in-Japan Rhoads with pinstriped finishes and gold hardware. The alder body has a 3-piece maple neck running through it, reinforced with graphite and finished in gloss to match the body. The ebony board has a 12" to 16" compound radius, 24 jumbo frets, pearloid sharkfins and Luminlay side dots.

Active EMG 81 and EMG 85 humbuckers sit at the bridge and neck, on a 3-way toggle with volume and tone. The bridge is a recessed Gotoh GE1996T Series double-locking tremolo with a Floyd Rose Original locking nut, which brings the strings back to pitch after hard bar use.

White with Black Pinstripes and Black with Yellow Pinstripes both pair the gold hardware with black pickups. The American Series Rhoads RR24 is the USA-made Rhoads with Seymour Duncans and stainless steel frets. For a fixed bridge, the MJ Series Rhoads RRT has a basswood body, 22 frets and a string-through Jackson TOM-style bridge.

Questions we get

How much do I pay today?

Your choice: the full price, or a 25% deposit. On a deposit, the balance is due when the guitar reaches the shop, before it ships to you. A deposit is paid by card or PayPal. Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay can't take one.

When will it arrive?

It varies by product, anywhere from two weeks up to several months. If you'd like a date for this model first, ask us in the chat and we'll check with the supplier before you order. If you're ready now, go ahead: we confirm the ETA by email once your order is in, and if it changes, we let you know and you can cancel.

Can I cancel?

Yes, any time before the supplier invoices it and ships it to us. We refund what you paid less 3% to cover the card processing fee.

Once it has shipped to us it is a special order and final sale. If it arrives with something wrong, we put that right.

What if the price goes up before it arrives?

You pay the price you ordered at. Once your order is placed we hold that price, even if the supplier raises it before the guitar arrives.

Is the free setup included?

Yes. A pre-order is an online order, so it gets the same free setup: it crosses our bench before it ships, set up the way you choose. The setup menu above shows what that covers.

Do I pay duty or brokerage on a US order?

No. Duty, taxes, brokerage and customs on a US order are handled at our end before the instrument leaves Ottawa. It arrives at your door with nothing to pay.

Orders going anywhere outside Canada and the United States work differently. The shipping and returns policy sets out which is which.

Can I finance it?

Yes, if you are in Canada and paying in full. Pick PayPlan by RBC or Shop Pay Installments as your payment method at checkout. The plan, the rate and the approval sit with the provider, and you see the terms before you agree to anything. You pay a deposit by card or PayPal.
