Who this one is for

The MJ Series Rhoads RRT is a Japanese-built Rhoads with a basswood body and a three-piece maple neck that runs through the body, reinforced with graphite. The ebony board has a 12" to 16" compound radius, rounder at the nut for chords and flatter up high for bends, with 22 jumbo frets, pearloid sharkfin inlays and glow-in-the-dark Luminlay side dots.

The strings anchor in a Jackson TOM-Style Adjustable String-Through-Body bridge, a fixed setup that is simple to restring and retune, paired with Jackson sealed die-cast locking tuners and a Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut. A Seymour Duncan JB SH-4 at the bridge and a Jazz SH-2N at the neck run through a 3-way toggle, one volume and one tone. Pickguard and hardware are chrome.

The USA Select Randy Rhoads RR1T is the US-built counterpart: same bridge type and Duncan pairing, on alder, with a tone control per pickup. The RRT comes in Gloss Black or Snow White.

Questions we get

How much do I pay today?

Your choice: the full price, or a 25% deposit. On a deposit, the balance is due when the guitar reaches the shop, before it ships to you. A deposit is paid by card or PayPal. Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay can't take one.

When will it arrive?

It varies by product, anywhere from two weeks up to several months. If you'd like a date for this model first, ask us in the chat and we'll check with the supplier before you order. If you're ready now, go ahead: we confirm the ETA by email once your order is in, and if it changes, we let you know and you can cancel.

Can I cancel?

Yes, any time before the supplier invoices it and ships it to us. We refund what you paid less 3% to cover the card processing fee.

Once it has shipped to us it is a special order and final sale. If it arrives with something wrong, we put that right.

What if the price goes up before it arrives?

You pay the price you ordered at. Once your order is placed we hold that price, even if the supplier raises it before the guitar arrives.

Is the free setup included?

Yes. A pre-order is an online order, so it gets the same free setup: it crosses our bench before it ships, set up the way you choose. The setup menu above shows what that covers.

Do I pay duty or brokerage on a US order?

No. Duty, taxes, brokerage and customs on a US order are handled at our end before the instrument leaves Ottawa. It arrives at your door with nothing to pay.

Orders going anywhere outside Canada and the United States work differently. The shipping and returns policy sets out which is which.

Can I finance it?

Yes, if you are in Canada and paying in full. Pick PayPlan by RBC or Shop Pay Installments as your payment method at checkout. The plan, the rate and the approval sit with the provider, and you see the terms before you agree to anything. You pay a deposit by card or PayPal.
