The USA Select Soloist SL2H is the US-built Soloist with a Seymour Duncan JB TB-4 at the bridge and a '59 SH-1N at the neck, on a 3-way toggle with one volume and one tone. The alder body has a quartersawn maple neck running through it, scarf-jointed at the headstock with a dual-action truss rod. Its ebony board carries 24 jumbo frets on a 12" to 16" compound radius, flattening toward the top for bends, with mother of pearl sharkfin inlays.
A Floyd Rose Original Double-Locking Tremolo and locking nut return to pitch after heavy bar use. Hardware is black.
The USA Select Soloist SL1 swaps in two Classic Stacks for an HSS layout. The MJ Series Soloist SL2 is the Japanese-built Soloist with a Gotoh double-locking tremolo, and the American Series Soloist SL2 DX pairs the same JB and '59 with a 5-position blade for coil combinations. Snow White or Gloss Black, both on ebony.
