Corey Beaulieu's USA King V is an alder King V with a quartersawn maple neck-through, graphite reinforced, under a hand-rubbed urethane finish. The ebony board has pearloid sharkfin inlays, 24 jumbo frets and a 12" to 16" compound radius, rounder near the nut and flatter up high for bends.
The pickups are a Seymour Duncan Blackouts AHB-1B at the bridge and AHB-1N at the neck, through a 3-way toggle and a single volume. A Floyd Rose Original double-locking tremolo brings the strings back to pitch after heavy bar use, and it comes strung .010-.052 for Drop C tuning. Dunlop Dual-Locking strap buttons come fitted.
The finishes are Gloss Black, Transparent Black Burst and Transparent Red Burst. For a King V with passive Seymour Duncan JB and '59 pickups and a tone control, look at the USA Select King V KV2, and for the 7-string version, the KV7.
