The Baritom Pro Am is Anderson's baritone on an all-tonewood body with no top and no pickguard. A 28-5/8" scale lets it carry heavier strings tuned B to B, a fourth below standard, and keeps that tuning at a workable tension.
Anderson pitches the Baritom as an instrument between bass and guitar, one that can stand alone or fill out the low end of a track. The Pro Am takes the full Anderson menu of neck shapes, frets and Pickupworks pickups.
For the same body with a pickguard, look at the Baritom Classic. For a figured top, the Baritom Drop Top. For the offset shape, the Baritom Raven. In standard scale, this body is the Pro Am.
The guitar in the photo is one customer's build in Black, shown as an example. Every Anderson is built to order: after you order, we go through the build with you, from the woods and finish to the neck shape, frets, pickups and hardware.
