The Baritom Raven puts Anderson's 28-5/8" baritone scale on the offset Raven body, a tonewood body with no pickguard. Strings are tuned B to B, a fourth below standard, and the long scale holds that tuning with proper tension.
Anderson compares the Baritom Raven's role to a cello in an orchestra: lower than a guitar, higher than a bass, adding weight to a track. It is the only Baritom on the offset shape.
If you like the Raven's lines and want the lower register, this is the pick. For the S-shaped baritones, look at the Baritom Pro Am with no pickguard, the Baritom Classic with one, or the Baritom Drop Top with a figured top. In standard scale, the same shape is the Raven.
The guitar in the photo is one customer's build in Sparkle Silver, shown as an example. Every Anderson is built to order: after you order, we go through the build with you, from the woods and finish to the neck shape, frets, pickups and hardware.
