The Bobcat Locker is the Bobcat single-cut fitted with an Original Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo, locked at both the bridge and the nut. The strings stay in tune under heavy bar use. It has a mahogany body, a 24-3/4" scale and the Bobcat's 3-a-side headstock.
The neck is where it parts from the rest of the family. Anderson builds the Locker with a maple neck in place of mahogany to support the locking system, with a rosewood fingerboard.
This is the Bobcat for a player who uses a whammy bar hard and wants a single-cut shape. For the carved maple top with a Tune-o-matic, look at the Bobcat. For a mahogany slab with a mahogany neck, the Bobcat Special. For one bridge pickup, the Bobcat Cub.
The guitar in the photo is one customer's build in Transparent Purple, shown as an example. Every Anderson is built to order: after you order, we go through the build with you, from the woods and finish to the neck shape, frets, pickups and hardware.
