The Icon Classic is Anderson's vintage-styled S: a full-size alder body, a pickguard carrying three knobs, a jack on the top and a single rear strap button. Anderson keeps nearly every option open on it, as long as the choice leaves that traditional look intact.
Underneath is a full Anderson build: maple neck, rosewood board, stainless frets, any Anderson neck shape and pickups, on a 25-1/2" scale or the 24-3/4" Shorty. Anderson says many Icons are built in satin, and the gloss colours are all available too.
For a tonewood S with a pickguard and without the vintage control layout, look at The Classic. For a figured top dropped over the body, look at the Drop Top Classic.
The guitar in the photo is one customer's build in Shell Pink, shown as an example. Every Anderson is built to order: after you order, we go through the build with you, from the woods and finish to the neck shape, frets, pickups and hardware.
Price subject to change based on options chosen.
